Laura has a history of high level success in the business arena. Prior to acquiring Springborn Staffing, Laura worked for fourteen years in a variety of sales and marketing roles including eight years with Procter & Gamble, and six with biotechnology company Amgen. During her tenure at Amgen, she managed and grew the Northern New England regional territory from start-up to over $25 million in sales. Prior to her work in corporate America, Laura served as a Division I Basketball Coach. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Vermont, and an M.A. degree from Ball State University. During her time at Vermont, she also played on the basketball team as a full scholarship athlete. Laura is active in multiple local and national business organizations including the Portland Community Chamber as a Board Member, Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce, Society for Human Resource Management, Human Resources Association of Southern Maine, and Human Resources Association of Eastern Maine. Laura is a Bangor, Maine native.

Deborah brings a solid background in all aspects of interim and permanent employment services management. Prior to joining Springborn in 2010, Deborah provided best in class staffing and search services at Accomplished Professionals for 18 years. Prior to her work at Accomplished Professionals, Deborah was Managing Personnel Consultant for eight years with American Personnel of Maine. During that time she specialized in temporary and permanent administrative and professional placement. She holds the designation of Certified Personnel Consultant and a Bachelor of Arts degree from USM.

Simply put, Kim Pickard has what it takes to be a leader at Springborn.  She is a senior staffing professional with over 14 years’ experience in the staffing industry.  Kim started her career as a staffing consultant and quickly moved on to a branch management role.  From there she owned a successful agency for 6 years before orchestrating a merger with a national firm.  Kim formerly served in a Branch Manager role at Interim Personnel successfully doubling revenues in a three year period.  She went on to open the first branch in Maine for DSG, a medical staffing firm.  She grew that firm from launch status to a 7-figure agency in one year.  Kim then put her skills to work for Accent Healthcare and after she doubled agency revenue in 6 months, she was asked to acquire the business.  Upon completion of the purchase Kim went on to successfully own & operate the agency for 6 years.  The agency was so successful and reputable it attracted a national buyer, and Kim orchestrated a sale of the company.    

Kim has countless contacts within the community, and is a member of HRASM.  She holds a BS degree from Liberty University, and has completed coursework toward her MBA.

Laura on Kim:

Prior to joining Springborn Staffing in 2010, Jayne worked as a staffing consultant at Accomplished Professionals for seven years. Jayne brings a total of ten years of experience in both direct hire and temporary services management and placement of accounting and administrative professionals. She holds a B.S. degree from Plymouth State College in Business Administration and Marketing.

Prior to joining Springborn Staffing in 2009, Dora started her career at WorkSource Staffing Services in 2006. Dora has also served as a Division Assistant with Elder Independence of Maine, and a Membership Director with the Old Town Orono YMCA. Dora is an active member of BNI Bangor River City Luncheon, in addition to serving on the membership committee. Dora serves as a Steering Committee member of Bangor Fusion and chair of the membership committee. She is also a member of the Human Resources Association of Eastern Maine (HRAEM). Dora holds an Associates Degree from Beal College.

Bridget joined Springborn Staffing in 2010 as part of the Accomplished Professionals acquisition. Bridget handles the endless administrative responsibilities necessary to keep the operations running smoothly. In addition, Bridget is serving as the payroll specialist and handles light accounting duties.
